Missouri tourism provides a $13.5 billion economic impact that creates more than 257,000 jobs in the state. Lodging, food sales, recreation, attractions/entertainment venues, amusement parks, and sports complexes all play a part. Research helps us make strategic marketing decisions for this diverse category of businesses. We report statistics from several state and federal government resources as well as contract for custom research with professional research firms for the most reliable data and analysis, and reports are available on our website and upon request.
