Missouri Tourism Road Shows

The Missouri Division of Tourism will take its show on the road at eight locations throughout the state in February and March.

  • Learn more about the significant impact tourism has on Missouri’s economy.
  • Hear from Missouri Tourism Director Stephen Foutes and staff about their work to increase tourism across the state.
  • Meet representatives from the Missouri Department of Economic Development Regional Engagement Team, the Missouri Travel Alliance and the Missouri Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus and learn more about collaborative efforts to strengthen Missouri’s tourism industry.
  • Participate in roundtable networking and Q & A sessions.

Who should attend

Anyone interested in Missouri tourism, including elected officials; community and business leaders; managers and staff from convention and visitors bureaus, chambers of commerce, and economic development organizations; and owners and managers of tourism-related businesses.

  • Feb. 24: Poplar Bluff - Registration is now closed.
  • Feb. 25: Ste. Genevieve - Registration is now closed.
  • March 3: Hannibal - Registration is now closed.
  • March 4: Washington - Registration is now closed.
  • March 10: Joplin - Registration is now closed. 
  • March 11: Springfield - Registration is now closed.
  • March 24: St. Joseph - Registration is now closed. - Stoney Creek Hotel, 1201 N. Woodbine Rd. 
  • March 25: Lake of the Ozarks - Registration is now closed. - Old Kinderhook, 678 Old Kinderhook Dr., Camdenton 

You are welcome to attend any of the meetings. Choose the date and location that works best for you.

10:50-11 a.m. – Break

11 a.m.-Noon - Roundtable Discussions

The eight roundtable discussions will focus on: Marketing, Budget, Film, Co-op Program, Research, and Communications

Note: The Missouri Tourism Road Shows are being held in addition to the annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism. Be sure to save the date for the Governor’s Conference Oct. 4-6, 2022, in St. Louis.
