About The Division
|
In 1967, Missouri’s 74th General Assembly created the state’s Tourism Commission and the Division of Tourism to promote and lead the travel industry in Missouri.
The Missouri Tourism Commission elects a chair, meets at least four times in a calendar year at the call of the chair and determines all matters relating to policy and administration of tourism promotion.
Travel is vital to the Show-Me State, contributing more than $12.6 billion in taxable sales in the 45 tourism-related NAICS codes and employing more than 300,000 people in FY20.
Commission meeting agendas and minutes from previous meetings are available by contacting Jadrien Bopp.
