Civil War 150 Promotion PROGRAM

 Session #6 - Marketing Period is July 1 to December 31, 2013

The Division of Tourism is pleased to announce the Civil War 150 Promotion Program. This program matches funds for performance-based marketing projects that are designed to increase exposure and attendance of Missouri Civil War sites and sesquicentennial events and attractions.
This program is being coordinated in partnership with the Missouri Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission.  The Mission of the Commission comes directly from Executive Order 10-20 and includes the following “…to increase awareness and understanding of Missouri’s role in the Civil War; to encourage civic, historical, educational, economic and other entities throughout Missouri to organize and participate in activities to commemorate the Sesquicentennial of the Civil War, and to foster an inclusive spirit of reconciliation that appropriately recognizes the experiences and points of view of all people affected by the Civil War and its aftermath.
